Papua New-Guinea is one the latest country where the natural environment keeps all his strength.
One can found there large territories among the most inhospitable ones on the earth and the primary forest extends on thousands of square miles.

Not far from the large Papua island, New Britain is shared between numerous active volcanos at north and massive limestone mountains cut by deep canyons at south.
These karsts are a real speleological eldorado, the promise of major discoveries and unforgatable explorations!
The networks of this part of the world are caracterized by huge underground rivers, impressive rooms, high verticals but also siphons to dive for going always farther in discoveries.

   > Nakanaï Range
Nakanaï are limestone mountains of 2100 square miles. The summit is 7168 feet high
and extends as far as the Salomon sea shores.
The area is subject to a very wet equatorial climate with precipitations higher than 39 feet/year in its central part.
It is cut by deep canyons which can have more than 3280 feets in depth draining their waters from the streams down to the sea.
