One of the most enigmatic mystery of the Nakanaï moutains is the strange fauna which lives in the hiden ecosystems, as the caves. Caves are one of the last borders of life on earth. The characteristic of the underground ecosystem and its difficult access plays a great part in the embryonary state of our knowledge on this mattter.
The aim of the bio-speleological program of the "Vuvu 2010 cave project" expedition is to discover the biological communities of the underground streams of the Vuvu network.

    > Program object :
- Explore and estimate the underground biodiversity of the Vuvu network
- Carry out a full inventory of the hypogeum fauna
- Characterize the underground ecosystem from an ecological point of view
The program will probably include the discovery of new species for the science and will allow a better knowledge of the brilliant legacy of biodiversity of the inhospitable underground ecosystem.
